Screaming Blue Diamonds is the trio of Kevin McHugh (keyboards), Masahico Shimaji (bass) and Samm Bennett (drums and vocal).
Their music is a heady blend of slinky lounge R&B, gritty, low-slung blues, hopped-up jump-start cakewalk and Memphis-inspired funkity-funk-funk. On a slow burn or a medium sizzle, they can get the room swaying and moaning, and when they kick it into higher gear, it's a bumping sweaty mess! Good gosh amighty, you'll throw your hands in the air and shout "gaht-DAMN, where has this band BEEN all my life!"
