SUN 8/7 : alternating SOLO sets with Yugo Sato
at What The Dickens, Ebisu, Tokyo, Roob Bldg., 4th floor - music from 9-ish to 11-ish - FREE!
Folks, this will be a fun night, alternating SOLO sets from me and the very unique blues/roots stylist Yugo Sato. Last time we split the bill like this it was big fun all around Come on out for some pints, classic English pub food and lotsa songs and such!
Approximate schedule:
Samm: 8:30 to 9:00 - Yugo: 9:15 to 9:45 - Samm: 10:00 to 10:30 - Yugo: 10:45 to 11:15
... and maybe some extra after that.

This will be my 2nd time to appear at ROSSO 198, a really cool venue in the Shinjuku Gyoen neighborhood. I highly recommend this place: intimate but not at all cramped, really good sound system, good lighting, big overstuffed comfy sofas and chairs to kick back in... the place just has a great feel to it.
I'll be doing songs new and old, using the ol' one-stringer known as the diddley bow. This evening is put together by Mattia, who many of you will know as the drummer from rock trio Tits Tats and Whiskers. As ever, the dance floor awaits your kinetic presence, or, just nestle into one of the comfy chairs and listen awhile.
