This will be the third live appearance from my new band, Juke Joint Ghost. As anyone who's talked to me in recent weeks knows, I am VERY excited about this combo! Yours truly Samm Bennett on vocal and three string guitar, Miyashita Kousuke on pedal steel (!) and Numa Naoya on drums. If you're anywhere near Kamakura, don't miss it! Cafe Ethica is a wonderful little venue very conveniently located near JR Kamakura Station (about a 5 minute walk).

SUN 8/3 : King Cake Baby at Soul Dama (Asagaya)

Friends, once again King Cake Baby will be bringing you that New Orleans R&B that you know you love. Dr John style, Meters style, Professor Longhair style, etc. This one will be a double bill with singer/pianist Yuri and her Swing Brothers, opening up the show at a 6PM start time, and King Cake Baby will take the stage around 7PM or so, for a couple of sets of that second line goodness.
