Birmingham, Alabama, in old photos & postcards

Hello friends, Samm Bennett here. Birmingham, Alabama happens to be my hometown, where I was born in the year 1957, and spent my first 20 years. Thanks to ye olde internets, I've been able to compile a collection of historical images from the city. Many of the places depicted in these old postcards and photos were familiar to me in my youth, and some I've discovered have shown me glimpses of a Birmingham that I never knew. Of particular interest to me are the old postcards and photos of places that I remember well, and spent some good times in (well, good and bad, naturally). Hope you enjoy.
