This song was inspired by a news item: a church in North Carolina, USA erected a statue of a human figure, covered in a blanket and sleeping on a park bench. Only the nail wounds on the figure's feet indicate that this homeless person sleeping in public is none other than Jesus Christ. One community resident was quoted: "The statue creeps me out."
