Samm Bennett : Tokyo Live Schedule for January 2026
サム・ベネット : 2026年 1月の東京ライブ・スケジュール
Hello friends, Samm Bennett here, hope to see you at one or more of these upcoming shows!
SAT 1/17 : Samm Bennett & Naoya Numa at Cuz'n Homeground (Asakusa)
Happy to be returning to the friendly, funky bar in Asakusa called Cuz'n Homeground, located on the Hisako-dori shotengai. I'll be making some joyful noise with drummer extraordinaire Naoya Numa. Numa-san is the drummer in my new trio, Juke Joint Ghost (we'll be playing just a few days later as the trio, also in Asakusa), but Numa-san and I have worked together as a duo before, and it's always fun and rewarding. Hope to see you there!

FRI 1/23 : Juke Joint Ghost at Fuglen (Asakusa)
Juke Joint Ghost is my new trio featuring two exquisitely creative musicians, Numa Naoya on drums and Miyashita Kousuke on pedal steel guitar. Since forming in May of last year, we've done five shows in Tokyo and Kanagawa, and we're very much looking forward to playing at the stylish cafe/bar Fuglen in Asakusa.
Fuglen is noted, by the way, for their delicious and very creative cocktails, as well as their coffees, teas, etc. Good beers available, too. The clientele is usually an interesting mix of locals and travelers who stumble upon the place while exploring Asakusa. Having played there many times over the years (pre-Covid and, more lately, post-Covid) I can report that I've met lots of interesting folks there from all around the world. It's a cosmopolitan but friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Sets at 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00
FREE entry
