FRI 6/12 : Juke Joint Ghost at Luck-ya (Koenji)
I love this band! And you will, too, if you come hear us! The lush, fluid sound of that supremely gorgeous instrument, the pedal steel guitar, in the masterful hands of Miyashita Kousuke, is a special treat for the ear. Numa Naoya's crisp, solid grooves give the songs the kind of rhythmic drive that keeps things jumping, and yours truly Samm Bennett brings, well, whatever it is that I do! Some plucking and singing and storytelling and such. These two band mates of mine are quite in demand around town, so it's not every day we can come together and make some joyful noise, therefore... DON'T MISS IT!
