A double bill spotlighting songwork by Samm Bennett's S&H duo, in which he is joined by percussionist Habu Hiroshi. Following S&H on the bill will be singer and pianist EKKO, in duo with bassist Masahico Shimaji. A solid evening of song, taking place at the relatively spacious Velvet Sun, a fine venue with a fine sound system.

This will be a great evening of what you could call *folk* music, in a warm and relaxed setting: the tatami room at Cheshmesh. I'll be doing a solo set, songs and such, on various instruments, followed by the Dead Sea Dropouts and The Barefoot Family String Band. I'll be up FIRST at 7PM, so don'tcha be LATE! This will be a non-smoking event, by the way.
