SATURDAY 11/1 : Samm Bennett SOLO at Cuzn Homeground, Asakusa, Tokyo
This will be the first time in several years since I've been back at the funky, friendly bar in Asakusa called Cuzn Homeground. I'm looking forward to it, and I hope you can stop by and enjoy the music. I'll be playing covers and originals. Entry is FREE, with pass the hat donations for yours truly, wandering musician. SATURDAY 11/8 : KING CAKE BABY at Koenji blues festival

Yes friends, King Cake Baby is back in action, and will be performing on an outdoor Koenji stage at 2pm on Saturday the 8th! One set only, about 40 minutes, on the "Sankaku Koen" stage (see map). Don't miss it! Matt Gillan on the piano, Hisa Nakase on bass, and yours truly on drums and vocal, bringing you those New Orleans second line rhythm and blues that you know and love!

FRIDAY 11/14 : Samm Bennett solo + Marcos Fernandes solo @ Art Baboo

It's song night at Art Baboo 146 in deepest Chinatown, Yokohama! This will be the 2nd time Marcos and I have double billed at the friendly little venue: first time was a smashing success, so I'm looking forward to this next one. We'll each do solo sets, mixing cover tunes and originals. Hope to see you there.

THURSDAY 11/27 : JUKE JOINT GHOST at Stage Coach, Chigasaki, Kanagawa
I'm most definitely looking forward to playing again with the superbly talented Kousuke Miyashita on the fabulous pedal steel guitar and Naoya Numa on his beautiful custom drum kit. It's a pleasure and an honor to work with these guys, and I urge you to come see our band if you're anywhere even close to Chigasaki. Stage Coach is a nice venue with a good sized stage, good sound, good food, friendly staff... what more could you ask for?
