when people call the truth a lie
and call their lie the truth and the proof against their lies they simply ignore and when they do it again and again the truth and the lies get blurred then comes the time when the difference doesn’t even matter anymore that’s how the road to fascism is slowly laid that’s how freedom’s death bed is slowly made when the light of human decency is seen to slowly fade that’s how the road to fascism is slowly laid when people are marked and registered by their religion or ethnicity when they’re referred to simply as illegals and nothing more when the big tall walls are erected to keep the so called illegals out that’s when a nation has begun to lose its moral core that’s how the road to fascism is slowly laid that’s how freedom’s death bed is slowly made when the light of human decency is seen to slowly fade that’s how the road to fascism is slowly laid good people of the world you whose eyes are still open we got to do what’s in our power to quell this disease the forces aligned against us seem strong but we got a better kind of power and we will not be brought down brought down to our knees we’ll block that road to fascism as it’s laid we won’t stand idly by while freedom’s death bed is made and the light of human decency we will not let it fade we won’t allow the road to fascism to be laid |
