This will be the 2nd duo improvisation meeting of Samm and multi-instrumentalist Michio Karimata. Last time around was an utterly unpredictable sonic romp through some imaginary landscapes somewhere between Nashville, Ueno and Lagos. Expect the unexpected!

Yes, folks, it's time again for another installment of beautiful downtown Ikenoue's premiere poetry/music open mic event: DRUNK POETS SEE GOD. Samm, along with co-hosts Frank Spignese and Sorcha Resse will be on hand to offer up some music and spoken word, and to welcome any and all participants to step up and seize the mic! Treat us to some of your words or song! Poets are welcome to opt in for spontaneous musical accompaniment, from Samm or some of the other musicians on hand, and that kind of impromptu collaboration is often fun and rewarding. Come on down!
Entry is only 500 yen (plus one drink)
doors open at 7pm - come early to sign up for a slot!

If you take the right-hand side elevator down from Ikenoue Station (Keio Inokashira line) Gari Gari will be immediately visible when the elevator door opens. You could make it from the station to the venue in a TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR and stay virtually dry as a bone! Yes, it's close, friends, close as close gets. Ikenoue Station is just one stop past Shimokitazawa station.
